191st Music for Humanity Free Performance Night

On the 3rd Saturday of each month, we invite 2-3 outstanding local/regional artists to share their music (both originals & covers), and sometimes classical, jazz, flamenco, etc. We’re into our 16th year. Our featured performers this month are Bruce T. Carroll and Sarah D.

Bruce T Carroll is a master of intellectual lyrics, songs from the heart, political observation and wit. Utilising music not only to hold a harsh mirror up to society, but also as a soothing salve that reminds us of all the beauty still to behold in the world.

Sarah D is a Hudson Valley singer-songwriter known for her introspective, contemplative, and reflective musical style. Her sound blends elements of Existential Chamber Folk and
Philosophical Folk/Rock. Lyrically, she draws from deep intellectual wells. Her songs weave together the philosophical themes of Viktor Frankl, Carl Jung, James Allen, John Stuart Mill,
John Locke, and Adam Smith. She accompanies her agile soprano voice with elegant, fingerpicked guitar.

We start promptly at 7:30, but recommend you arrive closer to 6:30 for a seat with table. Noble Coffee will serve a light dinner menu plus a great selection of desserts, coffees & teas.
