177th Music for Humanity Free Performance Night

July 19 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
E'lissa Jones and Mark McGrath
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, for almost 15 years we’ve invited 2-3 outstanding local/regional artists to share their music (both originals & covers). Our featured performers this month are E’lissa Jones and Mark McGrath.
E’lissa is a full time music teacher in Warwick NY, an outstanding singer/songwriter, arguably the most dynamic performer in the Hudson Valley, and a member of the Music for Humanity Scholarship Committee. Mark is an outstanding singer who covers songs from the 60’s, 70’s and more. This will be an outstanding evening of music. Plus E’lissa will announce $20,000 in new music scholarships: $10,000 for the Grand Scholarship in honor of Michael Panteleo, $5000 Runner-up and four Honorable Mentions of $1250 each.
Please join us for what will be a wonderful evening of music.

We start promptly at 7:30, but recommend you arrive closer to 6:30 for a seat with table. Noble Coffee will serve a light dinner menu plus a great selection of desserts, coffees & teas. This is a free event. We ask for tax-deductible donations to “pay it forward” to the next generation of musicians. See them at https://musicforhumanity.org/all-scholarship-winners/. If you are financially stressed please join us for free and let the music work its magic… it will.
“Sound Wizardry” by Jim Elwell. This is a “listening room” series. If you enjoy listening to outstanding music in a small intimate room (40-60 people) you’ll love this event.
