Applications are accepted from February 15th thru April 30th for the following academic year. We will give $20,000 in scholarships as follows:

Grand Scholarship $10,000
Runner-up $5,000
Four Honorable Mentions for $1,250 each

To apply you must be a music major or applying to be a music major at an accredited college or university in the United States. You must also download, complete, sign and upload this release form. The upload process takes place within the application.

There is a $30 application fee, which must be received with the application. Once you’ve completed the application and uploaded the release form, you will be directed to a secure payment form for credit card processing.

We’ll announce the winners via email on Saturday, July 20th at 11PM. We’ll also announce them live at our Free Performance Night on Saturday, July 20th at approximately 10PM at Noble Coffee Roasters in Campbell Hall, NY. We will try to livestream the announcement on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MusicForHumanity.org

In 2023 we gave $16,000 in music scholarships to the following outstanding young musicians, bringing our grand total to $167,000 in 66 music scholarships.

If the financial awards/scholarships you have received for the current year are greater than your annual tuition, then you are not eligible for an MFH scholarship.
