Music For Humanity’s Concert Series Featuring Elly Wininger at The Common Good

On the second Friday night of each month we present a concert featuring the finest musicians in the Hudson Valley and beyond. There is no cover charge. We ask for free will donations to support the artist and MFH. If you can’t afford anything, please join us for free and let the music work its magic… it will.
For October, our featured artist is Elly Wininger.
Inducted into the NY Blues Hall of Fame in 2014, Elly Wininger’s most recent album, “The Blues Never End,” including the award-winning song “Right Kind of Trouble,” was released in September 2021 by Earwig Music. It spent 4 weeks as the #1 Acoustic Blues Album on the Roots Music Report and remained in the top 6 albums for over 4 months. At one point, all 13 of the tracks were in the top 25 acoustic blues songs. The album has been nominated for an Independent Blues Award for Best Acoustic Blues Album. This summer, Elly won the Solo/Duo Competition at the Hudson Valley Blues Society and will be going to Memphis for the International Blues Competition this winter. Her 2018 release “Little Red Wagon” was #8 on the Folk Music DJ Chart for January 2018 and in the top 100 for that year.
