188th Music for Humanity Free Performance Night

On the 3rd Saturday of each month, we invite 2-3 outstanding local/regional artists to share their music (both originals & covers). We’re into our 16th year. Our featured performers this month are Sue Horowitz and Jim Pospisil.
Sue Horowitz brings her heartfelt Folk/Americana storytelling for an evening of songs that are funny, moving and deeply real. Sue is multi-award winning songwriter, retreat-runner and teacher whose music blends spiritual roots, modern folk vibes and the kind of storytelling that stays with you long after the last note.
Jim Pospisil is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist, whose songs seamlessly bring together musical arrangements with compelling lyrics that can be humorous or tragic, sensitive or cutting, all drawn from a well of personal experience.
His performances on guitar, mandolin, flute and harmonica can be soft and subtle, or wild and energetic. His songs can make you laugh, cry, or think. Sometimes all at once.

We start promptly at 7:30, but recommend you arrive closer to 6:30 for a seat with table. Noble Coffee will serve a light dinner menu plus a great selection of desserts, coffees & teas.
This is a free event. We accept tax-deductible donations to “pay it forward” to the next generation of musicians. See them at https://musicforhumanity.org. If you are financially stressed please join us for free and let the music work its magic… it will.
This is a “listening room” series. If you enjoy listening to outstanding music in a small intimate room (40-60 people) you’ll love this event.
If you can’t make it please subscribe to our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@musicforhumanity-1. We’ll post the videos the following week.
