Applications are only accepted from February 15th thru April 30th for the following academic year. We will give $16,000 in scholarships: Grand Scholarship $7500, Runner-up $4000, MFH David Crystal scholarship $2500, and Two Honorable Mentions for $1000 each. To apply you must be a music major or applying to be a music major at an accredited college or university in the United States. You must also download, complete, sign and upload this release form. The upload process takes place within the application.

There is also a $30 application fee, which must be received with the application. Once you’ve completed the application and uploaded the release form, you will be directed to a secure payment form for credit card processing.

We’ll announce the winners at our Free Performance Night on Saturday July 15th at Noble Coffee Roasters in Campbell Hall, NY.

On Saturday July 16, 2022 we awarded another $16,000 in music scholarships to the following outstanding young musicians bringing our grand total to $151,000 in 61 music scholarships. See the 2022 Scholarship winners here.

I further certify that if I am chosen as a scholarship recipient, I will use those funds only for expenses related to my education in an institution in the United States or with a master instructor, and I will provide a transcript or official notice of accomplishment at the end of the school year, academic semester or summer music program for which the scholarship will apply. If approved for a scholarship, you agree to provide a photograph of yourself for publicity purposes and agree to allow MFH to publicize your scholarship award.
