biographyPat Lamanna has been singing and writing songs all her life, which is quite a long time. She was born and raised in New York City and moved to Dutchess County, N.Y. in 1987. She has three grown daughters and currently makes her home in Hyde Park, N.Y. with her partner, Richard Mattocks. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work and recently retired from her “day job.” She has three solo albums, "Full Circle," released in 2009, "Do I Know My Song Well Enough to Start Singing Yet?" released in 2012, and "Something Beautiful," 2015. Sonny Ochs introduced her to the Folk DJ Showcase at the 2012 conference of the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance. Pete Seeger covered her song, "Peace Pilgrim," on his album "The Storm King." In January 2019 she won the South Florida Folk Festival songwriting award.
