SUMMARY:162nd Music for Humanity Free Performance Night
DESCRIPTION:On the 3rd Saturday of each month (we’re into our 14th year) we invite 2-3 outstanding local/regional artists to share their music (both originals & covers). Our featured performers this month are George Mallas\, Jon Stein and special guest Arielle Silver. George has been a student of the piano since age 6; the instrument is a natural extension of who he is. He is honored to be sharing a set for Music for Humanity. Though Jon Stein has been happily promoting Indie Singer Songwriters on his radio show\, The Hootenanny Café\, for almost 30 years\, he is thrilled to be performing for Music For Humanity once again as a singer songwriter. Arielle is on tour and has a free night to donate a set. We’re honored to have her join us. \nWe start promptly at 7:30\, but recommend you arrive closer to 6:30 for a seat with table. Noble Coffee will serve a light dinner menu plus a great selection of desserts\, coffees & teas. This is a free event. We ask for donations to “pay it forward” to the next generation of musicians (see them at https://musicforhumanity.org/all-scholarship-winners)\, but if you are financially stressed please join us for free; let the music work its magic… it will. “Sound Wizardry” by Jim Elwell.This is a “listening room” series.
