This concert will benefit York County Habitat in Rock Hill, SC and Music For Humanity.

KRISTOPHER IRMITIR - kristopherirmiter.com
One of the most sought after low voices from North America, Bass-Baritone Kristopher Irmiter has performed in all 50 states and throughout Canada - a favorite with more than 45 opera companies and numerous orchestras.  A 2007 Grammy Nominee, he has garnered praise from the San Francisco Chronicle to the New York Times: “his voice as notable for it’s security and tonal weight as for an abundant variety of phrasing - excellent, richly expressive - alternately stentorian and tender” with equal praise of his dramatic skills; “commanding charismatic stage presence - enough talent to succeed on his acting ability alone - powerful performance”.  With 85 roles in his performed repertoire, Mr. Irmiter has exhibited a vast range both vocally and dramatically in performances with San Francisco Opera, Florida Grand Opera, L’Opera de Montreal, Houston Grand Opera, Baltimore Opera, Atlanta OperFwd A Concert to benefit Habit.ems a, Hawaii Opera, Utah Opera, Austin Lyric Opera, Opera Lyra Ottawa and Arizona Opera among others..

AUDREY BABCOCK - audreybabcock.com
The power and sultry elegance that comes naturally to mezzo-soprano, Audrey Babcock, easily evokes such signature roles as Carmen, Lucretia, or Delilah. However, it is her rich sound coupled with an instinctual sense of timing that has allowed the versatile young singer to weave in and out of sensuality, tragedy, comedy, and madness. Ms. Babcock is equally noteworthy in her symphonic concert and recital engagements, which have included "Murder and other Operatic Mayhem" with the National Symphony Orchestra and "Where the Boys Are" with musical director, Steve Blier. The Washington Post noted of her recital at the Phillips Collection "...[Ms. Babcock's] diction is excellent and...she used language with extraordinary power and dramatic impact...[Kurt] Weill's brashness and Babcock's dramatic strengths are a perfect match." And of her side-splitting portrayal of Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, T.L Ponick (The Washington Times) described the singer as "a strutting, comic sensation..."

KIER - heykier.com

Speaker, Comedian, Singer, Songwriter, Kier is probably the only guy in Nashville to have played a writer's night at the famed Bluebird Cafe, headlined at Zanies Comedy Club and had a concert at Vanderbilt University all in the same year.  "Making music and making people laugh... that seems to be the coin of the realm for me." After years of non-stop touring, sometimes as a singer-songwriter, sometimes as a comedian, more often than not, a little of both, Kier has had the pleasure of speaking to, inspiring, cajoling, be heckled by, laughing with, singing to... people all over the United States and quite a few places beyond.

Music of all types will be performed by these wonderful artists.  Tickets are available at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore located at 825 N. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, or the Administrative Office at 1034 Charlotte Ave, Rock Hill.  There is a minimum donation of $10.00 per ticket and checks should be made payable to “Music For Humanity”.  50% of the proceeds from this concert will benefit Habitat for Humanity of York County.  Please call the Habitat office at 803-328-1728 with any questions.
